Cora Mei is an interdisciplinary artist who works in both traditional and time-based mediums, exploring the stylization and dissolution of the human form. She draws on inspiration from Chinese calligraphy ink traditions and  Japanese anime and manga, informed by the perspective provided by her Western fine arts education. Her practice includes documenting the creation of her work on video, revealing its conception through the layering of pigment and line over time.
